Ms. Schneiderman approaches each day with abundant positivity and kindness. Her can-do attitude and resiliency during times of change within the organization position her well when it comes to developing, honing and encouraging a positive, engaged, inclusive, and agile culture at Blue Cross. In addition to her integral role at the Plan, she also plays a key role externally when it comes to cost containment and pursuing lower-cost solutions for all of the people whose lives we touch.
In her current role, she oversees Human Resources, Audit, Fraud, Waste and Abuse, Organizational Development, Network Management and new areas under her leadership are Claims, Other Party Liability (OPL), Interplan Program (IPP), Federal Employee Program (FEP), Provider Contracting and Relations.
Ms. Schneiderman joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont in 2000, and prior to assuming her current responsibilities, she served as Blue Cross’ director of audit and risk management. Over the course of her career, she has held several leadership positions at Banknorth Group (now part of TD Bank), in both operations and risk management.
A graduate of the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, Ms. Schneiderman encompasses all of the character traits we cherish here in Vermont – honesty, integrity, and kindness. In addition to her role at Blue Cross, she is a member of the Board of Trustees and treasurer of the Vermont Historical Society.
