The Health and Wellness Program Consultant represents BCBSVT in devising solutions to problems and opportunities through client-facing delivery of presentations, proposal development, and where appropriate, provide advice and support for new wellness products and renewal efforts.  Anticipates client and policy maker needs for consulting and engagement support, solutions and services; manages and communicates expected demand portfolio.

The consultant serves as the dedicated market-facing point of contact for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont (BCBSVT) to employer group clients in conducting risk assessment of client’s populations, performs environmental and organizational assessments and provides strategic recommendations for the delivery of health management solutions to assist clients in the mitigation of their risks. Communicates population outcomes and educates internal staff, policy makers and clients on these outcomes while using them to complete specific analyses and propose improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

•  Degree in related area w/ certification in wellness or similar area,
• 10+ years of experience in wellness management in an employer, healthcare or insurance setting,
• 5 – 7 years of experience in account management experience in serving employer groups.
