This position is responsible for the management of the actuarial staff and the routine operation of the actuarial services department. Plays active role in the preparation and interpretation of data and related formulae. Performs financial projections and actuarial analysis for multiple projects or complex assignments.  Recommends policies to protect the organization’s financial integrity.  Participates in related activities and projects as directed.

Qualifications:

• BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related field required.

• 7 – 10 years experience in health actuarial science required.

• 3 – 5 years experience in a leadership role.

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries preferred.

• Member of the American Academy of Actuaries

• Meets the qualification standard of the American Academy of Actuaries to sign Statements of Opinion.
