Family Day’s-Shelburne, VT

Shelburne, VT – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont will once again sponsor Family Days at the Shelburne Museum on Saturday, Sept. 29. Family Days is an event that provides an opportunity for families to spend time with each other in active, fun and educational settings within their community. This year’s Family Days event will also feature a special informational session for individuals seeking more info on Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont’s Medicare supplemental plan.

For the past four years, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont has held family days at Shelburne Museum and Hildene, the Lincoln family home. Admission is free of charge to members at both locations.

Our Family Day event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m on Sept. 29.  Bring the whole family to enjoy a day at the museum.  Begin with healthy snacks next to the carousel; we will have a scavenger hunt for the kids and the young at heart.

Also on Sept. 29 and prior to the Family Days event, we will host a special informational session on the Ticonderoga from 8:30 to 10 a.m.  Those who attend this informational session will learn more about health care during retirement, including information on our Medicare supplemental plan, Vermont Medigap Blue. Following the session, we invite attendees to stay for light refreshments and join others for networking, a question period and receive personalized advice from our experts. Then feel free to stay and enjoy the grounds and exhibits of the museum. To register for the informational session please contact Jill McDermott at (802) 371-3299 or visit www.bcbsvt.com/vmb
