Berlin, VT –  With the 2011 Burlington Discover Jazz Festival in full swing, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont is looking forward to one of the festival’s most popular events—the Church Street Marketplace Block Party. Sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, the Block Party runs from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. this Friday, June 10. Admission is free! This is the sixth year Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont has sponsored the Block Party.

Vermont-based band Bearquarium will play the Fountain Stage on Church Street, with much of the Block Party aired live on News Channel 5, WPTZ. Bearquarium, an eight-piece band, plays a mix funk, soul and world music—perfect for Block Party festival-goers and dancers.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont will be there handing out balloons, painting faces, and giving away other free goodies. Feel free to stop and by and say hello during the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont Block Party!
