BCBSVT Rutland County Community Advisory Board Hosts Free Worksite Wellness Conference

Rutland, Vt. – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont’s Rutland Community Advisory Board is sponsoring its second annual free worksite wellness conference as part of its commitment to work with employers and individuals to improve the health of Vermonters.

This half-day conference is scheduled for Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Franklin Conference Center in Rutland.  It will feature Rich Alercio, Castleton College Football Coach as the keynote speaker and a series of workshops focusing on the conference theme Teaming Up for Wellness: Worksite Wellness in Vermont.  For more information or to register for this free forum, visit www.bcbsvt.com/worksitewellness, or call Megan Peek at (802) 764-4858.

The Rutland County Community Advisory Board of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont was formed to identify health needs in the area and address those needs through programs, events and activities and is dedicated to supporting worksite wellness in the region. The Board consists of community leaders with an interest in health education and promotion.
