Right to the Top
Many of the programs we develop or support come out of our statewide community advisory boards. These groups of committed health-minded Vermonters support health promotion and education in the areas of the state in which they live. One such long-standing celebration spearheaded by our Windham County community advisory board is our annual Mountain Day, on which hundreds of Vermonters convene to hike up Mount Wantastiquet. At the top they are rewarded with a healthy lunch, compliments of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont and our Brattleboro advisory board.
Mountain Day is but one example of the many exciting community activities and programs occurring in Vermont each year that would not be possible without the hard work and enthusiasm of our community advisory board members.
