Vermont Alzheimer's Association Memory Walks
In support of the Vermont Alzheimer’s Association, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont teamed up with National Life and the Chittenden Bank to sponsor the association’s annual “Forget-Me-Not” memory walks in Burlington and Montpelier.
As the Alzheimer’s Association’s national signature events, these walks raise contributions and awareness about Alzheimer’s disease, the fifth leading cause of death among people 65 and older. The walks bring together family members, friends, caregivers and concerned community members—all of whom want to make a difference. This annual event, which started in 1989, has raised over 200 million dollars.
