Every summer the Discover Jazz Fest fills Burlington's streets with music. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont joined in on the festivities by sponsoring the annual Block Party. The 2011 Block Party was a great success, with hundreds turning out to listen to Bearquarium, a Vermont-based jazz and funk band. Many stopped by the BCBSVT tent for face painting, temporary tattoos, free balloons and other giveaways. Combining the lively music and dancing with the BCBSVT tent created a great atmosphere for all who attended.
