As Vermont’s only local health plan—and the largest non-government payer for health care services for Vermonters—Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont has a critical role in working with employers, individuals, health care professionals and public policy makers to implement and sustain these changes.
This last fall, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont met with business leaders and community decision makers around the state to get their insight and opinions. A team led by President and CEO Don George discussed many issues—hoping to gain perspective from individual and group health care consumers.
