Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont recently partnered with a new nonprofit cancer recovery program that will help cancer survivors flourish on their road to improved wellness. The program, called Survivorship NOW, will look to address the gap cancer survivors face between treatment and recovery. By providing opportunities for wellness programs, Survivorship NOW hopes to transform the way Vermonters begin anew after cancer.

Survivorship NOW began in 2011 and is an offshoot of Dragonheart Vermont, a nonprofit organization that raises money for breast cancer awareness and survivors.
