Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont will be hosting a news media advisory at:

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont has developed a series of public informational brochures to help Vermonters who remain uninsured and who lack the resources to access health care and health support services. These Health Resource Guides contain information about the many public and private programs and services available to assist those without health insurance to access free or reduced health care and support.

We plan to produce and distribute a Guide for each of the twelve geographic areas surrounding Vermont’s hospitals. The first of the Guides is for the Fletcher Allen Service area, which includes Burlington – Chittenden & Grand Isle Counties.

Kevin Goddard of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont will introduce the Health Resource Guide for Burlington. Alison Calderara of The Community Health Center will explain the variety of free and reduced services available in the area for those who are uninsured or under insured. A question and answer session will follow.
