As a non-profit independent Blue Cross and Blue Shield plan located in Berlin, just outside of Montpelier, we at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont (BCBSVT) understand first-hand many of the misperceptions some people have about our company and the health insurance industry in general. Health Care Reform Update

flagOn March 23, 2010, President Obama signed into law historic legislation reforming our nation’s health care system, known as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). At Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont (BCBSVT) many of these changes are in progress and some have already been implemented.
