For Vermonters Covered by Medicare
Our Blue 65 programs, (also known as Medicare Supplements or Medi-Gap policies), are designed to:
- complement the coverage provided by Medicare Parts A and B.
- offer protection against Medicare's unpaid expenses
- provide the personal service you deserve
Eligibility
By law, to be eligible for Vermont Blue 65 coverage you must be:
- a Vermont resident and
- enrolled in both Parts A and B of Medicare
Effective Date
Coverage will begin on the first day of the month following receipt of your application.
Supplemental Programs Offered
We offer two of the federally approved supplemental programs:

- Basic coverage of Medicare-approved services
- Hospitalization copay and coverage for 365 additional days after Medicare benefits run out.
- Covers the 20% Part B copay for Medicare-approved medical expenses

- Same benefits as Plan A and
- Covers the Part A deductible,
- Expands coverage for skilled nursing facility care,
- Covers the Part B deductible and
- Provides limited coverage while you travel outside of USA
